Shikamaru Nara is the main protagonist of Naruto. He’s strong but he often takes the backseat in battles and rarely gets praise for his skills. This list ranks 10 anime characters who are stronger than him, all due to their special abilities or perspectives on combat that give them an edge over Shika.
The “15 characters stronger than naruto” is a list of anime characters that are stronger than Shikamaru Nara. The list includes Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha, and Goku.
Shikamaru is one of my favorite characters of all time.
He’s everything from a drag, thanks to his intellect and surprising amount of strength. People like to minimize the second half of the remark, but don’t forget that he did temporarily paralyze Momoshiki.
Shikamaru Shinden is also a wild character.
So, to dig a little further into his abilities, we’re going to imagine some potential bouts with different anime characters and come up with a list of people who might definitely defeat him.
And don’t worry, the matches will be more fascinating than just squaring off DBZ characters.
Rudeus Greyrat (nine) Rudeus Greyrat (ten) Rude
Mushoku Tensei is a Japanese anime series.
Let’s start with Rudeus, since I believe this is the most contentious battle.
He may not be exactly on Shikamaru’s level of intellect. He isn’t stupid, but he isn’t stupid either.
We watched him utilize his magic in ingenious ways against the robbers, and he’s only become stronger since then.
His new quasi-sharingan is also a force to be reckoned with, putting him on level with expert swordsmen.
But, in a life-or-death scenario, I believe Rudeus would win just because of how ludicrous his abilities can be.
We saw him easily conjuring up a full storm. So I believe the odds of him unleashing a massive fireball that wipes out everything are just as good.
9. Romanee-Conti Petelgeuse
Re: Zero is a Japanese anime series.
This battle is one I’d want to share since I think it’s humorous.
Shikamaru’s primary method of assassination is to send forth his shadow arms to strangle his opponent. Petelgeuse performs much the same thing, only he accomplishes it with his invisible, above-ground arms.
As a result, the battle would consist of two guys looking at each other for a split second before one of them was strangled.
However, because grabbing the neck from the sky is faster than grabbing it from the ground, I believe Petelgeuse has this one under control.
Especially as Shikamaru will not be able to notice Shikamaru’s strike coming.
Megumi Fushiguro is number eight on the list.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime series.
I simply think this fight is so thematically appropriate, since both combatants deal with shadows and the like.
However, I believe Megumi gets the upper hand when he goes absolutely insane. Megumi may totally conceal the ground and make it difficult for Shikamaru to control his shadows, even with a hasty Domain Expansion, while while repeating his own summons.
These aren’t your standard Naruto summons, though. So a single kunai isn’t going to be enough to get rid of them.
He’s better at hand-to-hand fighting than Shikamaru, so he could go for a few strikes himself. However, I believe that maintaining his distance and letting his summons handle the remainder is the safest option.
7. Alessi
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders is an anime series based on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Another funny one that came to me while compiling this collection.
The capacity to induce fast retrograde aging for anybody who comes into touch with Alessi’s shadow lies in his shadow.
However, one’s shadow may also be used to convey power.
So Shikamaru goes about his business, catches Alessi, and then transforms into a baby.
Yes, the aging process moves at a breakneck speed.
Shikamaru was no longer a threat to Alessi after that. There’s also the possibility that Shikamaru just throws a kunai and kills Alessi on the spot, which I find equally as amusing, but isn’t a viable option for this list.
Katsuki Bakugou is number six on the list.
My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga My Hero Academia.
Because of his loud voice, people often dismiss Katsuki’s intellect. The guy, on the other hand, knows his way around a battleground.
When he noticed Shikamaru’s shadow slithering towards him, he was exceedingly careful and wouldn’t take any risks.
He may assault Shikamaru while blasting about in the air, attempting to off him from afar, since he can remain airborne for as long as he likes.
He could also utilize his blasts to scatter blinding light around the battlefield, restricting Shikamaru’s options for assault.
5. Garou
One Punch Man is a Japanese anime series.
Garou is just a lightning fast learner, deconstructing whole combat techniques in a matter of seconds and quickly determining the optimal course of action.
When you combine it with his extraordinary speed and accuracy, he’d be a formidable opponent for Shikamaru.
I honestly believe the following is how the battle would go:
Shikamaru is able to outwit Garou and capture him. He then believes he was the one who murdered him.
Garou returns in half-monster shape, having mastered Shikamaru’s shadows inside and out. Garou then goes on to murder Shikamaru.
Garou’s tenacity is so strong that it’s almost a second skill for him.
Lubbock is number four.
Akame ga Kill! is a Japanese anime.
With this conflict, there are a few things to consider.
To begin with, Lubbock is deceptively clever, using complicated and elaborate traps to beat formidable foes.
Second, his ability is very adaptable, allowing him to attack in a variety of ways while also allowing him to move about freely.
Third, he has a good deal of speed in the air. As a result, he can evade a significant portion of Shikamaru’s kill potential.
Shikamaru, I believe, is the more intelligent of the two. However, I believe Shikamaru’s demise will be due to a lack of adaptability.
3. Gobuta
That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime in Anime
This may come off as a joke or a dig at Shikamaru, but bear with me.
In the second season, this tiny guy grew in strength. In addition, he has a skill that directly opposes Shikamaru. He may, for example, just step into your shadow and then step out whenever he wants, allowing him to employ Shikamaru’s own ability as a gap closure.
In terms of strength, he responded to and deflected the onslaught of a major army general, indicating that he is at the very least jonin level.
Because Shikamaru isn’t recognized for his taijutsu, I believe he loses this one.
Hisoka Morow is number two on the list.
Hunter x Hunter is a Japanese anime series (2011)
Hisoka is an expert at making the most out of a basic ability. In that way, he’s a suitable match for Shikamaru.
He’s also very smart and strong.
Shikamaru would have a hard time keeping up with the murder clown since his Bungee Gum has both rubber and gum qualities.
Shikamaru’s kunai might easily be used against him by Hisoka, who could simply pull him towards him, stick him to the ground, or even use Shikamaru’s kunai against him.
Shikamaru, on the other hand, is unable to perceive chakra. As a result, he wouldn’t spot Bungee Gum, despite Hisoka’s ability to keep his eyes on the ground for any stray shadows.
This guy is a superb illusionist, so I doubt it would be simple to fool him.
Zora Ideale (Zora Ideale) (Zora Ideale)
Black Clover is a Japanese anime series.
Finally, there’s Zora.
This is the battle I’d most want to witness, since I believe it’s the closest and most fascinating by far.
Zora, like Shikamaru, is a smart strategist who can accurately predict the result of fights and prepare accordingly, laying traps and counters when required.
He also loves to put on a sluggish act on a regular basis.
So, why do I believe Zora will triumph?
To be honest, it’s just for the sake of variety.
Zora, unlike Shikamaru, has a variety of traps in addition to his classic uno reversal card.
Depending on what he throws down, he may imprison you, immobilize you, or even do minor harm to you. So, if we give both of these characters the customary amount of prep time, I believe Zora would win by a hair because of his kit.
But, to be honest, I think they could become friends just as easily.
